At the moment I have a Philips HTS 3440 DVD Home Theater System 1000 watts. Came to me, still under warranty, and Phillips sent a new one. We paid $ 200 for sale.

I know you get what you pay, but Phillips is a respected brand is not (perhaps not with HTS, apparently).

I would like to have a Bose, but I am a student and I can still buy a Bose. Are there any other brands in the field of HTS reasonably afford? Maximum price between $ 500 and, I think.
